Junior volleyballers depart for Carib champs

 
The Jamaica Volleyball Association's national junior male and female teams left the island yesterday for the 6th Caribbean Championships in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The championships begin tomorrow and end on July 13. Manager Jennifer Evans heads the 32-member delegation.

Five members of the delegation - female team manager Suzette Baker, male team captain Shavoy Irving and female team members Chantel Moore, Shadae Watson and Ashley Smith - are set to depart today.

Female Team: Naima Stennett, Avaniki Campbell, Chantel Moore, Shadae Watson, Ashley Smith, Joylene Hyde, Sonia Binns, Racquel Cole, Tasha-Gaye Richards, Martis-Ann Sinclair, Roxanne Smith and Sasha-lee Wallen.

Male Team: Shavoy Irving, Maurice Nathan, Alwayn Easy, Paul Scott, Romell Carter, Omar Fraser, Robert Andrews, Adrian James, Kemar Parchment, Ensley Anderson, Lenroy Dennis and Ragine Rhoden.
