PERFORMER OF THE WEEK: Davis lifts Jamalco

Jamalco's ace goal-shooter, Elaine Davis.

Former national representative, Elaine Davis, produced her best goal-shooting form to help Jamalco capture their seventh consecutive hold on the Jamaica Netball Association/ Berger Paints title.

Davis, who last represented the country in the 2007 World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand, scored a game-high 32 goals from 40 attempts to lead the Clarendon-based Jamalco to an exciting 44-42 victory over Waulgrovians 'A' in the final game of their best-of-three series on Monday, for a 2-1 come-from-behind win.

Earlier, Davis scored 40 goals from 46 tries in her team's 49-46 loss to Waulgrovians in the opening game. However, Jamalco rallied to take game two with a 50-46 win, courtesy of Davis, who scored a game-high 41 goals from 51 attempts.
