General Accident win

Defending champions General Accident recorded their eighth consecutive victory in the Locker Room Sports Business House netball Super League, with 55-26 win over Jamaica Broilers on Saturday at the Leila Robinson courts.

In the day's other game, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) increased their hopes of securing a place in the semi-finals after edging National Commercial Bank (NCB) 'A' 41-40.

General Accident lead the standings with 24 points followed by Scotiabank 'A' (18), Jamaica Broilers (12), JCF (9) and NCB 'A' (six).

Former national players Margrette Lawrence led the way for General Accident with 26 goals from 28 attempts and received solid support from Oberon Pitterson, with 13 from 17 tries.

Top shooter

Lovena Parnell was the top shooter for Jamaica Broilers with 22 goals from 24 attempts.

Meanwhile, Jocelyn Rowe scored 22 from 27 attempts to guide NCB 'A' past the JCF.

Rowe received good support from Camesica Lynch, 18 from 24 tries. Shernette Walker, with 28 goals from 35 tries, and Deonie Gordon, nine from 10, were the top scorers for the JCF.

In intermediate action, leaders National Water Commission (16) defeated Victoria Mutual (nine) 29-19 and Cable and Wireless (10) stopped second-place Appliance Traders Limited (15) 26-18.

In senior B action, Scotiabank 'B' whipped Cool Petroleum 65-42, Wisynco beat Grant Stewart Phillips 50-36 and Heart Trust NTA stopped National Housing Trust 41-35.
