'Mystix' pool tournament begins today

Players from Portmore and the Corporate Area are slated to contest the Mystix Sports Bar 8-Ball pool tournament at Mystix, 78 3/4 Hagley Park Road, today and tomorrow starting at 5:00 p.m each day.

The island's top ranked player, Portmore's own Sunil 'Termite' Kissendal is expected to be among the competitors.

The tournament, which is open to A and B class players, offers a first prize of $50,000 and trophy, second $20,000, third $10,000 and fourth $5,000.

Entry fee is $1,500 per player, re-entry $1,000. Entries will be drawn at 4:30 p.m. today.

Six nine-foot tables will be used for this A Handicap tournament which is also expected to attract players from Mandeville, Ocho Rios and MoBay.
