Dupont crush Rousseau 25-0

 
DUPONT crowned themselves 2004 primary school rugby champions when they crushed Rousseau 25-0 in the final played at Jamaica College yesterday.

Neton Thompson, Shawn Laws, Shonie Wade and Javan Allison scored tries for Dupont who went to the halftime break leading 15-0. In the third place play-off, Martin came out on top, beating Tavares 15-5.

Earlier in the semi-finals, also played yesterday at JC, Dupont defeated Martin 20-10 to book their place in the final. It was the same scoreline for Rousseau over Tavares in the other semi-final match.

In quarter-final matches played last week at Seaview Gardens, Dupont defeated Seaview 30-15, Rousseau downed Drews Avenue 25-5, Martin beat Old Harbour 5-0 and Tavares trashed St. Andrew 30-10.
