After almost two months of non-activity at the Palisadoes International Raceway, Kingston, Go-Kart racing resumes tomorrow afternoon, with a packed 10-race programme.

Heading the list of competitors is Jamaica's teenage sensation, Timothy Stewart, who has been invited to compete at the 2006 Rotax World Go-Kart Finals, which will be held from November 14-18 at Viana do Castelo, Portugal.

Stewart was invited based on his performance in the August Road America Grand Nationals, held at Elkart Lake, Wisconsin and is expected to make a clean sweep of the Rotax Junior Class.

Ready for challenge

Dominic Moore, who crashed out of the September Red Bull Go-Kart Extravaganza which was held in New Kingston, has recovered and is now ready to take things to another level.

A lot is also expected from Joel Jackson, who gave a good performance at the recent Heroes of Speed race meet held at the Dover raceway, St. Ann.

The Anderson pair of Andre and Martin should maintain their consistency, but the man everybody is aiming to defeat is Kyle Gregg, who won the major prize at the Red Bull event. Kyle who attends college in Canada, is son of last year's Jamaica Motoring M Club champion driver, Gary.

Some close finishes are expected, especially due to the fact that more effort is anticipated as time is running out and the karters need to score vital points to improve their chances of winning one of the major titles.

The championship concludes on November 12.
