Jamaica opened their semi-final qualifying round with an away one-all draw with Canada. Canada scored first through Guzman but Andy Williams equalised allowing the 'Reggae Boyz' gain a point.

Donavan Rickets worked hard and once the the cross bar was rattled but the Jamaicans fought hard and salvaged a draw.
